Hartford High School’s 3rd Annual Fall Fest:
Hartford High School will be completing Fall Fest on Friday, October 25, 2024 with a back up rain date of Monday, October 28. Fall Fest is a day designed to get our student body out of the building and into the community to complete service projects that will help those in need as well as beautify our city. Students will be completing projects with local businesses and churches, as well as cleaning up litter and debris around the city. We will also be raking leaves for community members that are unable to. Leaves will be raked to the roadside and picked up by the city. If you are interested or are aware of someone who could benefit from our leaf removal, please contact us as soon as possible so we can add you to our list. You can complete the online application using the following link or call the school to give them your information.

Tercer festival anual de otoño de Hartford High School:
Hartford High School completará el Festival de Otoño el viernes 25 de octubre de 2024 con una fecha de respaldo por lluvia el lunes 28 de octubre. El Festival de Otoño es un día diseñado para que nuestro cuerpo estudiantil salga del edificio y entre a la comunidad para completar proyectos de servicio. que ayudará a los necesitados y embellecerá nuestra ciudad. Los estudiantes completarán proyectos con empresas e iglesias locales, además de limpiar la basura y los escombros en la ciudad. También rastrillaremos hojas para los miembros de la comunidad que no puedan hacerlo. Las hojas serán rastrilladas hasta el borde de la carretera y recogidas por la ciudad. Si está interesado o conoce a alguien que podría beneficiarse de nuestra eliminación de hojas, comuníquese con nosotros lo antes posible para que podamos agregarlo a nuestra lista. Redwood Elementary’s W.A.V.E. Council is holding a personal care/cleaning products drive to benefit the victims of Hurricane Helene from Tuesday, October 15 to Wednesday, October 23, 2024. We set a goal of 1,000 items. Please help us meet our goal by donating two or more items. All goods collected will be transported to an area of need in the Carolinas by a local church on October 24th. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Please join us in welcoming Peter Aranda as the new High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director!
Mr. Aranda has been with the district for the last three years as one of our Social Studies/Economics teachers, varsity football assistant coach and teachers union representative. Mr. Aranda, a Hartford Alumni, has moved back to Hartford after being a teacher in Kalamazoo Public Schools for 16 years.
He has demonstrated his ability to build and maintain positive relationships within the community. His strong ties to the community, students, and staff will continue to be an asset as Hartford Public Schools continue to focus on academic achievement and our athletics programs while building and strengthening a positive culture.
Peter will begin his new role on October 21st as a search for a new Social Studies/Economics teacher begins immediately.
