We're Moving!!!!
The HPS website is transitioning to a new web platform, which will be available for the start of the 2017 school year. While in this transition, many of the links, photos and other web content may change or become unavailable without notice. The athletic calendar, district event calendar and building event calendars will remain active, as will the district lunch menus. The link to the new Athletics webpage and the Athletics webpage itself will be unaffected. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition, and we look forward to providing more accessible and responsive web content in the future!

Welcome to Woodside Elementary!

Welcome back to the 2016-2017 school year. The staff at Woodside is hard at work preparing to make this a positive and successful year for the students and families. The MISSION is Hartford Public Schools is dedicated to fostering a love of learning in an innovative, cooperative, and safe climate which empowers students to be productive, caring, and respectful citizens that are prepared for their future endeavors. The VISION is to create an appealing school district that produces measurable gains in student achievement and helps make a more prideful and pleasant community to live and work. The Woodside team is committed to ensure all students at Woodside will receive an enriching experience academically and socially.
Our focus for the beginning of the year is to develop working relationships with staff, students and community members in order to continue building a strong caring learning environment for the students. I am a firm believer that all students can learn grade level common core curriculum and will bring that vision to work with me every day. Together administration, staff, students, families and the community will collaborate in the learning process to nurture life-long learning for the students at Woodside.
